HISTORY:
1760 - Born in Tarrytown, New York.
1772 - Sisters Mary and Elizabeth born, mother dies. Takes over business.
1775 - Sent for aunt and uncle from England.
1780 - Gets married to Katherine Van Tassel. Johnathan is born.
1782 - Margaret is Born.
1788 - Family murdered, put in jail, embraced by Phoebe.
1789 - Met Phoebe's brother, Mad Matt and his love Maria.
1789-1846- Lived in Boston under bloodbond and mind control as Phoebe's husband.
1846 - Killed Phoebe, fleed to Georgia, bought a plantation house
1856-1928 - Summers in New Orleans with Mad Matt.
1886 - Started affair with Maria.
1901 - Started to hang around musicians. Enchanted by their music.
1938 - Found Baby Eliza.
1939 - Killed some of Maria's friends for eating Baby Eliza.
1948 - Chased off at gunpoint by Maria.
1948 - Relocated to LA by Mad Matt. Met Alexis Jordan
1951 - Alexis adopted by Nurse Lewis.
1956 - Met Michael Lewis at Alexis's birthday party.
1957 - Gifted Plymouth Fury by Mad Matt.
1960 - Dorian turned 200, Him and Michael moved in together.
1961 - Alexis moves in, Dorian moonlights for the Mob.
1962 - Dorian starts to take over house work so Alexis can work.
1967 - Christmas; Mad Matt gives him a pocket watch of importance.
1969 - Goes to woodstock; visits Terrytown.
1972 - Goes to the Prince Liam for permission to embrace Michael.
1972 - Michael is murdered, Blood bonds self to Alexis.
1972-1985 - Dorian stays high all the time to cope with Michael's loss and Alexis' cancer.
1986 - Alexis loses her battle to cancer, Dorian quits speaking.
1993 - Had a fling with a girl outside of a nightclub.
2008 - Sent to Phoenix*, attempted suicide but returned to Matt's care.
2010 - Dorian grows restless and returns to LA for a short while, he has a run in with the elders of LA and decides to get out of dodge.
2014 - Returns to the plantation house where he would remain.
Early 2018 - Dorian took the seat of Prince of Atlanta after the death of his long time friend Marcelus, claiming Matthew dead as well, as they wanted Matthew, but Matthew wanted freedom.
Late 2018 - Dorian's mirror shatters more when a Venture kindred tries to trick him into a blood bond, taking an ax off the wall to the kindred his court became frightened of him. He blackened his clothes and started to earn a reputation for being truley mad from that point.
PAST GAME MEMORIES:
Throne of Shadows
The Temple: Dorian arrives, and meets and befriends Devi D, and meets his uncle Matthew's former consort, Selene. Not knowing she was connected to Matthew until the two had nearly slept together.
Gebo: Dorian had a deep rooted fear of water and confined spaces, so this underwater city was terrible for him and kicked in a flaw he has where he must eat from a living person. This is how he came to know Devi's then boyfriend, Caius. He is reunited with Matthew here.
The Wyld's: Dorian started a courtship with a woman he can no longer remember, while spending alot of his time flirting with Glinda the Good. Here in the Wylds he grew closer to Selene, Caius and Devi.
PERSONALITY:
Dorian is a bit unhinged even when not going off the deep end. He has long since quit caring what people think about him or the things he does. He considers himself free from the binds that hold most people into most standards, he does believe in being kind and good to those around him as being rude is simply unbecoming. He will do anything and everything for a person if they catch his eye, however this goes as far as hurting people they love if they are hurt by those people. An example of this is with Alexis Jordan one of his retainers he killed every single suitor that ever came for her hand until her death for worry of her being hurt though he himself saw no romantic interest in her he merely didn't see a soul worthy of her and never admitted to her that he was the one behind these acts for fear she might reject him for it. Dorian has a strong will to love and protect, however this will is sometimes beyond what people would call okay. He has and always will expect the worst the happen. He beleives himself to be a good man but he knows the things he does are bad and always expects a horrible out come even if there is no possible way it could have happened.
Dorian has long since accepted that he is no longer normal, he walks with his own moral code. He believes himself to be a good man at heart despite his flaws. He sometimes has to eat the organs of those he feeds from to get substance from the blood it's just something that he's had to deal with since his very making. It's a problem but he doesn't know how to fix it, luckily it's not every time he eats just every now and then his body will demand more and he'll lose it and kill his prey. This combined with the fact he feels true sorrow for those he hurts drives him to repent by trying to help others to make up for the pain he's caused. He is in no means like Angel. He does not fight crime in the night to save souls. He does what he can when he finds someone in danger but he doesn't often look for it. He suffers from a derangement of Manic Depression, this doesn't mean he is just a big ball of emo. Though he can be, after feedings and defeats he often drops into heavy depressions but what Manic depression is more extreme mood swings. One moment he will be calm, the next hyper as can be and at the drop of a hat he could lose his temper or burst into tears. This doesn't happen all the time. Like most vampires he's learned ways to keeping it a little more under wraps but if he's stressed or upset it completely makes itself known.
Things that have stuck with him from his mortal life are the fact he's quite brilliant and insightful, which has only become stronger as he was embraced though some of it gets jumbled in the mess in his head. He has a midis touch when it comes to failing businesses and always has. He can see the profit in things most would ignore. From his parents grocery store when he was a boy to blues clubs on the delta in the early 1900 and helping a struggling mafia family build themselves into a feared family in the 1940s-1960s. He sees potential in everything and knows that if he puts his mind to something he can make something out of it. Even if he gets little or nothing in return. He's the type that once his minds set that's it. He's devoted to the idea and wont stop until it's completed even if no one else holds interest at the end he would know he did it. This goes for most things outside of other kindred. He has never embraced another, he has never offered the world of the night to another living soul for fear of them rejecting him the way he rejected his own sire. Granted he would not be as twisted as she and use a blood bond to force loyalty. The idea alone scares him enough to keep him from it. He is fully prepared to do as he's done for ages and keep walking the night alone.
He still projects himself as ever the gentlemen if he can. Hands behind his back when he speaks most of the time, standing and removing his hat when a lady is present and opening doors. Even if most of these traits have mostly died out these are the traits he was raised with in his mortal years and spent a good chunk of his un-life following. So even as time has changed he refuses to change these ideas. The ideas he has changed however are the fact that he knows now that women are quite capable of handling themselves despite what he used to be taught and know. He will not stand in the way of a woman fighting unless she asks for help or clearly needs a hand and in that respect he would only help even the field no more. He is not the type to force himself into a situation unless he cares about the person. Then it's a whole other ball game.
